Fancy a life as a Guitar Technician?
The National Guitar Repair Training Program can start you off properly in the guitar & bass repair business.  We'll support you through your own music-based Career Development Pathways plan and extend the offer to join a great franchise.

AAG is an official Approved Training Supplier through the WCVA Engagement Gateway program, improving the employability of creative people.

'Economically inactive', 'unemployed', 'NEETs', 'women', 'BAME', 'aged 50+ people', 'lone parents', 'work limiting health conditions and/or disabilities', 'breadline musicians'.

DONATED GUITARS:
We urgently need donations of guitars, basses and other musical instruments, to help improve people's employability.  Trainees of the next National Community Guitar Repair Project will need them for the training.  When fully trained, they'll repair and distribute them to those on low income.

Donations to AAG / AAM or to Glenside Community Hall (charity), Pontnewydd, Cwmbran, Torfaen.  Please call 07724148569 for more details.

Thanks to David Eynon for his donation and Christian Walsh for his donation offer.

The Music Industry IS a credible career choice
In 2012, Kevin Webb spoke  with Geoff Cuthbert (AM) and representatives at a Careers Wales conference, about bridging the gap between community, education, careers and the Music Industry.  The collaborative 'Portfolio Musician' training and work-based learning program is designed to achieve this.
